The one gas saving tip listed above that could be upgraded a bit is the one about &#039;turn off your car any time your in idle&#039;. And the reason is that it depends on how long you&#039;ll be ideling. If it&#039;s only for seconds, then turning your vehicle off and on again will often waste gas since a) extra fuel is required to start a vehicle and b) many drivers step on the gas to start a vehicle... even fuel injected vehicles.

But the rest is spot on and I&#039;ve spent well over a decade mastering many aspects of driving and the last couple years mastering &#039;saving gas&#039;.
